Why do men and women seek partners for long-term relationship? I am talking about single men and women who wish to remain single i.e. no marriage. Relationship is best secured in a matrimonial alliance but to avoid complete dependency, subjugation and legal hassle women and men prefer to have a live in relationship rather then being tied in conjugal vows.

Does this mean marriage is out? Well every time a new lifestyle surfaces the old ones seem to appear towards extinction. However, they do not. For a new lifestyle, only gives space to people who are not compatible with established norms as the society evolves in a continuous fashion sometimes taking quantum jump.

Matrimonial alliance though a great bliss in a perfect wedding can be a disastrous experience if things do not move well. This often happens in overambitious, egoist and immature couples are often or where a hasty decision is taken as regards compatibility. There many reasons a marriage can fail. Thus live in relationship has been found to be a good solution by many.     

When you see photo personals of a women seeking men or men seeking women they are not just matchmaking for a marriage. Most of the personals ads would be for live in relation ship or for casual dating – one nightstand.
